Why do I get a message that Windows is not set up manage my wireless connections?

I am trying to connect from an airport. I do not have a router or external wireless card install. It is an integrated wireless receiver in the laptop screen. Help!

check with the Information Kiosok. most likely you have to disable all encryption for your wireless card and change your SSID to what ever the airport is using for it's SSID.

Your laptop is most likely using a 3rd party software package. On my Toshiba, I use the Intel PROSet to handle my wireless instead of the built-in Windows stuff... Look through your menus and see if you have some other wireless software controlling your connection...
