Well I don't think you can have a Panda considering they are not only wild animals but also endangered. That fish is a little scary, fish aren't real hardy pets.

But you could try....

A dog. Dogs are loving, loyal, and just adorable. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. From a dog like the hairless, Chinese Crested to the very large, affectionate, Great Dane. A lot of people have dogs, so you could take him/her for a walk without people freaking out. You can also get dogs from your local Humane Society or a breeder. In getting a dog from the Humane Society you are saving a life! Dogs, like humans, each have their individual personalities. You can even teach your dog some tricks. I have 2 Great Danes and they are just wonderful.

Cats. Smaller and typically cleaner than dogs, cats are another good pet option. You can also get a cat from the Humane Society. Cats come in many colors and shapes. You may want to stick with domesticated cats though.

Turtles are generally solitary animals but can be quite interesting pets. It is illegal to sell turtles under 4 inches in pet stores due to Salmonella, but you can get larger red ear slider turtles in local pet stores for about $20. Turtles can, however be expensive. Aquatic turtles need large tanks to swim in and a basking spot with a heat lamp, seeing as they are cold blooded animals. A pump for the tank, and females need a place to lay eggs. Adult turtles do not need to be fed every day. You can also give your turtle live feeder fish so he can catch them. Adult turtles generally eat vegetation.

Rats or mice. Both rodents, rats are larger than mice. They are quite interesting and mice are actually kind of cute! You can buy them pretty cheap but my gosh those things multiply like crazy.

A pig. Pigs are very intelligent and clean animals. Some say they are smarter than dogs. You can get a pot belly pig, which, when full grown is the about the size of a medium-large size dog. Baby pigs can occasionally be bought in pet stores.

Birds. Once they decide they don't like you they really don't like you. Birds can be loud or quite, it depends on the bird. They are pretty messy eaters and do make quite a mess in their cage. Cleaning a birds cage is a chore. You have to change the newspaper and scrub down the cage. Birds can also get mites. Certain birds can be bought very cheap while others are in the thousands of dollars. Birds, like turtles, have a long lifespand.

Fish, they can be bought for 6 for a dollar sometimes. The only thing expensive about fish are their tanks. Fish are not hardy pets, a lot don't live as long as other pets. Fish are fun to watch and are pretty easy to take care of. Fish come in a vartiey of colors and sizes. Recently I went to the pet store and they had orange glowing fish. I've have been told fish at the pet store have diseases, so you may want to stay away from those.

I hope this helps you with your pet search!

well, i want to know one little thing, why did you get those many pets if you are going to give them away now? pets are a life-time commitment, not to keep for a little while and to give away because 'you don't like them' or because 'they're grouchy.' i know friends who have mini chihuahas and they seem fine to me. they're not grouchy and they are energetic dogs. like you said before about a dachsund...if you treat a mini chihuahua correctly, he will be fine, as well. i know you are responsible and it's good you have enough money, but it's not always going to be about money. you can't just say you don't like your mini chihuahua just because he is snappy. you'd probably expect that from chihuahuas because that's their normal temperment. if your dad says wait until you are 18, wait until you are 18. if i were you, i would listen to him. it's his house and he pays for the bills in the house hold. you should listen to him because he knows what's right. if your mini chihuahua is that snappy to you, train him. if you don't have enough time to, bring him to a place where they professionally train dogs for long periods of time. but, i agree with you about the fish. but.......you just said you're giving your fish away because it's a pumpkinsed and it isn't really made to be in a tank. if you're giving your fish away, wouldn't the person who take the fish put it in a tank like you? see. this is what happens when people don't look for information on a specific animal they want before hand! i've had many animals before and i never gave ONE animal away. all of them died and i regret that because i loved them so much and now im hoping my dog stays longer than ever. he's still a puppy, so he has a whole life ahead of him. p.s - sweety, it is fair. be happy with the animals you have! :-)

Awww, get a baby panda, that coelacanth is pretty ugly...or hey, you could get both, just be careful not to let the panda baby too close to the coelacanth tank, as you may end up with a very fat fish.

getting a pet is a personal decision...it depends on what kind of animals you like - ie. dogs/cats/reptiles/gerbils/rabbits etc...
take time to decide exactly what will make you happy and you will soon know what pet to get.
