You sound like you're suffering the normal effects of anemia. I am also 29 weeks pregnant, not anemic, and I am still suffering some of the symptoms you described - pressure, lower back pain, occasional cramping. The cramping could be Braxton Hicks contractions (nothing to worry about) or it could be your body needing more water. If anything ever becomes unbearable, call your doctor - that's what he or she is there for!
You will feel a lot better in about 11 weeks! Good luck!

Welcome to pregnancy! I'd be lying if I told you gets better from here on. For the next 11 weeks you can expect to pee every 2 hours in the middle of the night, have pelvic pain, lower abdomen cramping, exhaustion,...should I go on?

As far as the cramping goes, you should only be concerned if the cramping is extreme cramping--painful. Also, if the cramping is associated with any type of blood, contact your doctor. Both can indicate problems or early labor.

Otherwise, count yourself lucky that you never got morning sickness, get as much sleep as you can, and realize pregnancy doesn't last forever.

Hang in there!

Try taking your prenatal vitamins/iron supplement at night, before you go to bed. Taking mine in the morning made me so sick I would end up elbowing the homeless guys out of the trashcans at Penn Station so that I could throw up before getting on the subway. My doc suggested that I switch to the evening to see if it would make a difference.

This might not work if you an not sleeping well. Hang in there, you're almost to the end!

Stop stressing eat loads of green vegatables like brocoli and red meat if possible to sort your iron problem out. If you are super worried go to 2 other doctors and take the best of 3 opinions

best of luck I hope things work out soon
