If by "real" you mean, "Able to bite you", then there is no evidence to support that claim...
Vampire myths began in the middle ages due to a variety of plausible reasons, including:
1) Many people died rather "mysteriously" (the locals hadn't the medical knowledge to understand, or stop, many of the causes of death).
2) Many of the bodies were often poorly buried (often a simple wood coffin)
3) People's understanding of a body's decomposition was also limited - and a decomposing body can do many strange things:
When a body first begins to decompose it dehydrates; making the skin pull tightly about the body. This, along with "skin slippage" (the flaking of the skin from the body), give the illusion of growing nails and teeth (and further, giving birth to the myth that these body parts grow after death)
Later, a decaying body can fill with gasses (from gut bacteria not released) and the lungs can fill with blood - which is later purged through the mouth due to the expanding gasses (see first link).
4) Then, of course, there are two pretty rare conditions known as catalepsy and porphyria that helped matters along (please see relevant links)
All of these contributed in some way to the Vampire myth: someone dies a mysterious death, the locals exhume a recently buried body and see what they conclude to be a bloody mouth (with long teeth); they know of rumors involving people dying and coming back to life, or of people getting blisters from sunlight...
Lastly, and probably most importantly, the "modern" vampire (the one people claim to see these days - or even "be") was INVENTED by Bram Stoker in 1897 (see link) and is only loosely based upon these previous myths and loosely based on a real 15th century prince of Wallachia (now in modern day Romania), Vlad III the Impaler (see last link).

Yes very real....just probably not what you think.....
A Vampire is simply a being that can't create enough of it's own spiritual energy to support itself, so it must get it from another source. They are believed to have a hole or damaged spot in their astral/spiritual body. This is a lot like a paper cup with a hole in it. You continue to pour water into it but it slowly leaks all of it out. No matter how much water you pour into it, the cup never stays full. This is the technical definition of what exactly a Vampire is. So most feed on raw energy of the spirit some do drink blood....they are not immortal but some do heal rapidly and rarely get sick....

No. Mathematians already figured out that based on when the legend of vampires started if they needed a certain amount of people to survive then by this point in time all people would have already become vampires or everyone else would be dead. Mathematically it doesn't work. People who think they are vampires usually have other more serious issues.

Every culture has a word for vampire, or a person that drains your life blood/life force..... They can not see themselves in the mirror, meaning they do not know they are vampires.....They only come out at night,,,,, meaning they never see the light of love..... a stake through the heart kills a vampire........meaning a good powerful broken heart will hurt someone so much, they learn to empathize with others and stop hurting others for their life force.....
I magine a really mean guy who loses his wife he becomes very soft-hearted and loving,,,, often... losing his wife breaks his heart.... and he becomes capable of love......

Only in the bats which is documented. The mythical "Vampire" is from the lengendary Count Vlad, I think in the Chezch Repubic, who was noted for his bloody rein. Then Hollywood just embellished it. You know gore sells.

Yes.... either the mythological bloodsucking undead ones.......... or more realistic one's that dont necessarily have to know what they are in order to feed off your energy, which are pretty much all over the place these days.
