My friend has a Verizon WiFi card and I'm planning on visiting him in a couple days. I may have to work with my corporate computer and do some work for a few hours, but I don't know if these hi speed wifi cards are easily exchangeable.

Can I just take his card and plug it into my computer, or will I have to set up a special account, etc.??

Like any Wi-Fi card, you will need the software install into your laptop and with the person's username and password in order to get the Wi-Fi service from Verizon. If you don't have the software from Verizon then you won't be able to use the card or Verizon service.
