I heard of this but it never happened to us, like 12 windows on top of eachother trying to sell things ask questions etc. I ran the sheild and it says no problems this is a problem sometimes it freezes up now. I am embarassed.

you need a good antispyware to remove spyware and adware you have. try spyware doctor, it's very powerful tool:

and it's not about what browser you use, it's about malicious things installed on your computer, they will remain no matter which browser you choose. it can only be removed by anti-spyware

Try Spybot: SEARCH & Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org

Or ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite from http://www.zonelabs.com
If neither of these fix the problem, I don't know what will.

If using Internet Explorer, try swapping it for Mozilla Firefox instead, which is generally more secure at preventing pop-ups and dodgy ActiveX controls getting onto your computer.

Try downloading "Adaware" and "Spybot search & destroy" both free spyware programs. You have spyware or adware
