I have a Birthday coming up in 2 months and i am going to be 13. I got a Wii and a xbox 360 already. I see PS3 all the time (60 gig) that you can buy in circuit city and target and the local gamestores are taking reserves. Also i original didn't want one but know im starting to like it. I was wondering if i should get a PS3, how much memory, and what games.

I currently have a playstation 3, and i have had no negative things to say about its reliability. I would highly recomend getting one since they are the most realistic of the three, provide the most memory space of the three, and since they have the most room for improvement (game improvement due to blu-ray, not system improvement, you can't get any better).
If you do choose to get a PS3 i would highly recomend the 60GB version simply for the memory, memory card slots (SD, Compact Flash, and Memory Stick, not PS2 memory cards), and WiFi Internet which makes set up easier. I would also recomend this version because you can download demos off the internet and the more space, the more games you can hold without having to upgrade harddrives.
The games depend on your preference. If you are looking for Halo-like gaming than i would go with Resistance: Fall of Man (i own it and it is amazing), or the soon to be released F.E.A.R. If you are looking for sports the graphics are amazing, and i would try to stick with the EA Titles just because of their past dependability and wide variety of game modes. If you are looking for role playing than i would choose the new Final Fantasy, or Marvel Ultimate Alliance. And if you are looking for racing i would go with either NFS: Carbon or Gran Turismo: HD.
I got my PS3 simply because it will be around for the next 6-7yrs, and will still be cutting edge, it offers the highest image quality, and the blu-ray disk allows game developers to expand on the 6GB X-Box 360 games, and turn them into amazing 45GB Masterpieces for the PS3. Not to mention a blu-ray DVD Player alone cost nearly $1000, and an HD-DVD upgrade for X-Box cost $200.
As far as price goes... If you were to buy a X-Box 360 with a 60GB harddrive upgrade, a WiFi card, and an HD-DVD Player it would cost you almost $1000, not to mention your monthly subscription to XBOX Live. The PS3 offers you all of this plus free online play for only $600. Come on how can complain. Anyway... good luck and i hope you choose to join the Playstation family soon!!!

I am a diehard Sony fan (PS1, PS2, & PSP) and am the proud owner of an Xbox 360 Premium. Why? Because the games are better, the console is better, and, quite frankly, lets face it, if you know anything about consumer electronics, the more important question is not games, it's the fact that PS3 is a Blu-Ray player and Xbox 360 is HD-DVD. My opinion is HD-DVD will reign and Blu-Ray will not. Which leaves you with a 600 dollar gaming machine with NO killer titles that compare to the 360's line up. Not to mention the 360 connects with your PC on your home network and you can access all your movies and music from your PC on the Xbox 360 on your tv/entertainment center. Oh yeah, and did I mention that Xbox Live is 100 times better than Sony's online offerings?
And whoever said Unreal 2007 - Either play it on a gaming PC or don't play it at all. I've played every Unreal since it started and no console version will ever be as good as the PC version.

Wait until they fix the issues with the PS3 because right now there has been issues with the PS3 that had been popping up from game freezes,over heating, it doesn't play certen games. I recommend you talk too a local Game store person ask them questions when will they release a new version of the PS3 which may, or may not have any problems.

For now I would say the only reason to get a ps3 is resistence, so i would wait a while, but it is a great console with the best graphics and many games coming in the future look very promissing.

I like sony...they do have good products. I'll be 13 in 5 months as well and i was thinking about getting one too but everyone that i know is returning theirs because theirs is breaking or they just dont like it and i have an xbox 360 as well and i dunno if u like this kind of stuff but King Kong is a really good game for that. O and if u are aloud to talk to me...can u tell me if a wii would be something good to ask for as a bday present...? Happy Early Birthday!!!

Seriously dude? And you're only 13? I guess if your parents are willing to buy it for you - but wouldn't you rather just get $600 worth of games for the Wii or 360? Plus...Microsoft is coming out with the next gen of the 360 soon. Hold out for that, it'll blow the PS3 out of the water!

Dude trust me get the ps3 but not now w8 till later this yr.
Get the ps3 60 gig it has wireless internet and it has more features if u want to know more check out www.gamespot.com
As for the games here is wat u should check out but if i were u i would get the ps3 later thats wen its gonna be HOT more features more updated bugs fixed, glitches overall its gonna b better. Every idiot who says ps3 and 360 or ps2 r the same ur gay and u obviously dont know about video games and ur just gay

I'd wait a little bit longer, u've already got the other 2 consoles, so pleay them a little bit and give developers time to come out with better games for the ps3. Hopefully the price might come down a little bit toofrom 600 dollar systems.

u probably shouldn't. you're 13, and you already have a wii and 360. that's more than enough.

DONT THE 360 IS MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER if u get a ps3 u'll wish you had a 360 cuz it has games like Gears of War, Halo12 and so to be 3.
