Yes. There is a forest fire. Planes that poor water on forest fires fly down to local lakes and scoop up the water and then go and drop it on the fires. Presumably, when scooping up the water (These scoops are pretty big), they scooped up a poor chap who was doing abit of scuba-diving and then dropped him in the fire with the water.
Brilliant question, got anymore like this?

He was out at sea swiming and was scooped up by a plane that collects sea water to put out fires.
the plane then dropped him into the burning forest either the drop or the fire killing him.

The diver was sucked into one of the various fire fighting planes/helicopters, when it was "reloading". He was then dumped into the fire along with the water he was captured with.
A different variation has him high up in the remains of a large tree as a result of his oxygen tank exploding...

Incidentally, the 'scuba diver scooped up by a fire-fighting plane' story is an urban legend - see http://www.snopes.com/horrors/freakish/scuba.asp
