I have DVD playing software on my PC, I used to be able to play them using Cyberlink PowerDVD but it ain't working now.

I'd suggest you uninstall PowerDVD and then reinstall it. See how you go from there.

Do you have the software to reload PowerDVD, if not Windows Media Player might work. You could also try downloading software from the web.

it could be your graphics card, try updating your graphics driver by going to your graphics card website
