I absolutely believe this, there is nothing like being in the familiarity of home, knowing every street, shop, hang out like the back of your hand. Having your friends/family there, nothing beats that. I come from a city which is known to be "boring" but I have lived overseas many times, travelled all around the world and all I ever want to be is home sweet home! So I believe that quote to be 100% true! :-)

We may not always go back to our roots, but there is no place like home for sure. You're most comfortable where you grew up in my opinion. Your formative years were cultured by a specific style of living in a specific area and even though you can adapt you will feel certain comfort at home that you won't feel anywhere else in the world.

We all should be happy we have a home to go to. Think of thousands of folk who dont have a home, or never had a home. Or was thrown out of their home.

You may never physically return to your "home" for various reasons, but in your memory and in your heart, "home" willl become more dear to you the older you get.
