Broken glass should be placed into a separate waste container. Never place broken glass into the regular trash container. Use cardboard boxes with plastic liners, empty plastic paint cans, or any similar puncture-proof, leak-resistant containers and should be labeled “Caution--Broken Glass.” and secure with tape.

When this happens I put it in a box or milk carton etc and put tape over top saying "broken glass" and take directly to dumpster

Just put the larger pieces in a box. If you have a trash or limb truck that comes around just sit it out by the road.

I wrap the broken glass in newspaper and write "GLASS" on it. Then I throw it in the recycle bin.

Put in a cardboard box, tape it up, and take it to the landfill.
