Well I do not think there is life currently on Mars. It will be interesting when the new probe arrives if they find signs of life that had been there.
I think there may be life on Jupiter's moon IO. The ice melting probe that was supposed to be sent there, never made it did it? I think there may be some small bacertia or something cool like that there underneath the ice!
TO Nunoyvgnva Awi...or however you spelled it. They have not found a trace of life anywhere outside of our planet. No single celled living organisms not even bacteria.

There were signs that water may have existed on Mars, so it's a possibility.
However, it probably was not a carbon-based life form like humans.
It is possible that there may be life under the planet's surface that we haven't discovered yet. Perhaps they went underground because the atmosphere can't support life and they have an artificial environment??

The current theory for thier life is that every few million years the icecaps melt, thus providing resources for life, until the icecaps freeze in a few million years. We have tons of proof. We just caught Mars at a bad time.

I do. Under the surface. Just as on earth we have massive amounts of water under the surface and mars is no different. Do to the geo-thermal heating the water under the surface on mars is flowing. In these underground rivers will no doubt be an ecosystem of sorts.

there could be some type of microbes, it is proposed today that asteroids can harbor caertain bacteria and this may be how life began here. These things would hit everywhere randomly and the cellular organism can withstand extreme conditions.
This does not negate the theory of spontaneous combustion of organic molecules as being the root of all life but just means that this process need not have occured here.

If the basic element of oxygen is there, then there will be basic life.If there is carbon deposits, that would show pre existence of life. Recent discovery of water on Mars have excited people as thiswould clearly indicate at least basic signs of life.

Listen, that's a great question. Don't ASK ANYONE ELSE. answer IT YOURSELF. that's HOW SCIENTIST AND ASTRONOMERS ARE CURIOUS. They say is there life on mars???/ hmmm...one guy says yes one says no and they try to find out. and guess what, someday we will find out. it might not be tomorrow but it will be someday
