Just Like Heaven. It is one of the few 'chick flicks' that I could tolerate. Was very intriguing and made me pull for the hero. And besides, Reese Weatherspoon is so cute.

Shaun of the Dead
Everything about that movie is pure genius. The acting, the dialogue, the props and everything inbetween. Pretty much everything in the movie happens twice, sometimes its really subtle, sometimes its blatantly obvious. I must have seen the movie 2.1 million times and I swear everytime I catch something new that I have noticed before. They are coming out with a new movie called hot fuzz, I cant wait to see it.

The Shawshank Redemption, is my all time fave, as for me it shows many of the characters that you are likely to meet in life and how others opinions selfish or otherwise can determine your fate, but most of all it the main character andy never gives up hope and you have to believe that everything will work out in the end, also it has a fantastic cast

A Beautiful Mind.............
I love the movie because I have a daughter who is 22 years old now and she has Borderline Personality Disorder with episodes of schizophrenia and psychosis. I did not understand what she was going through and often became very aggravated at her when she would introduce me to people who did not exist. I could not understand why she would just stop taking her medication when I saw it as helping her. I went to the counselors and psychiatrists with her for years and years and still could not understand what she was going through. After watching the movie, I began to appreciate more just what she goes through every day. She has 2 children and she cannot live with them because she is a danger to them so here I am raising them. But thanks to the movie I now have a better handle on her side of things.

The Hunt For Red October.
It's an action movie, but a smart one with good acting that doesn't just depend on explosions and muscles. It has a pretty complicated plot, and some funny parts. And it was a really good book first.

"Apocalypse Now" ----
Why !???
Because it shows a journey to the end of humanity, it is a trip into the Heart Of Darkness... What kind of "darkness" --- The darkness of a normal human soul... That's really amazing & frightening....
Beware --- that's a genius movie, but it is not made for entertaining, I feel very Sorry for young people that this masterpiece is not shown at the movies any longer, because You have to see it on The Big Screen... not on DVD... Sorry.
Aaron.
