I'd consider them more Rock than Indie Rock - 'Indie' usually indicates not being signed with a major (or any for that matter) record label, and not being well known. Which The Killers are - at least more recently.

I would agree with that person. It's like indie rock. They're not so much of what you would consider rock.

i consider them as rock or alternative rock not so much indie rock they're very popular.

Paul DiAnno's band, he the first lead singer of Iron Maiden. They are rock.
