You could research what each material is made of, and/or the projected temperature is needed to make it burn, and/or how fast heat travels through a specific material

you could do research on one specific material and then show the causes of why this burns the most and the effects

Try using common household goods: paper, fabric, wood. You can probably find some research on house fires and how they spread...
