I have heard many things
Vitamin B6
Ginger
lemons
I find the best thing to do is the second you feel hungry you must eat, if I wait even 10 minutes I get severe morning sickness the acid start eating away and bam! it's horrible, I have found that cheese is a big set off for me, so I stay away from it, also red meats make me go sick straight away
Some hints I found on a site
When you first wake up, eat a few crackers and then rest for 15 minutes before getting out of bed
Get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating
Eat small meals or snacks often
Avoid spicy, fatty and fried foods
Open the windows and turn on the stove fan if cooking odours bother you
Try eating cold food instead of hot
Sniffing lemons or ginger can sometimes relieve an upset stomach
Eating salty potato chips can help
Also, drink small amounts of fluids frequently during the day, and avoid drinking before and after a meal. Some foods may help releive nasue and they include: Chips, pickles, lemonade brown rice, mushroom soup, celery sticks, apple slices, mashed potatoes, juice, seltzer, sparkling water and crackers.
It is also important to get plenty of rest especially during the first 3 months of the pregnancy.

I had severe morning sickness too. Although some morning sickness is common, there is a small percentage of women that experience very severe symptoms. I tried everything, but couldn't even hold down water. I was losing about a pound a day and after losing 15 pounds, and being severely dehydrated my doc prescribed Zofran. That didn't help much, so she added Tigan and the combination helped tremendously.

I am pregnant with my 1st (about 8 or 9 weeks now and counting). My sister-in-law, a nurse and mother of 2, suggested Zofran when I had the exact same problems you describe. It is used in Chemo patients for nausea and it is safe for the baby. Phenergan is safe as well, however, can make you very sleepy. Her suggestion is to take Zofran during the day and Phenergan at night. I am taking 8mg now and breaking it in half and taking it every 4 hours. It is prescribed to take one tablet, twice a day. The Phenergan I take at night and broke into 1/4's, taking only 1/4 at night so I can go to work. Zofran is expensive, however, your local pharmacy should now have the generic version available as of this month called ONDANSETRON (on-DAN-se-tron).
ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE: TRAVEL EZE (wrist bands)
These are small tennis bracelets with a plasic ball sewn into the material to be worn on both wrists. These are used for motion sickness in cars, boats, airplanes, diving, etc. It is also used for "morning" sickness (or in my case, all day sickness). Why they work...it is used on pressure points in your wrists called the Nei Kuan point. I started using these yesterday afternoon after I got off work. I wore them through the night and all day today. Only taking them off once for my morning shower. Today, I feel "normal" again. I feel nauseous every once in a while but not like it had been. This appears to be my saving grace. I have only taking 1/2 half of the Zofran and have managed to eat a small breakfast, lemonade, a small salad for lunch, Kool-Aid and I feel good!! The bands only cost about $10 + tax. There are instructions on the box on exactly where to place them (it's super easy). It's not guranteed to work for everybody but it is worth a shot. I would give it about 3 days to see if it is working.
I personally got sick of crackers and light-colored sodas. Try some flavored crackers that aren't as heavy (very small snacks). Carrots and dip worked, bagels or any bread products to "soak up" the excess stomach acid that is produced from being prego.
I hope this helps! Good luck and Congrats! Hang in there!!!

My OB had me take vitamin B6. I don't remember how many times a day. But it helped along with water crackers and stuff like that. Also having food next to my bed and eating first thing in the morning helped. Flat soda helped more than carbonated.

Ginger ale helped me, but remember - it has to actually have ginger in it! That means (usually) going to the 'natural foods' section and getting a more expensive brand, but if ginger isn't listed in the ingredients list, your 'ginger ale' might as well be Sprite for all the good it will do you.
Also, try to eat something you can stomache before you even get out of bed in the morning.

Try this:
1. Sour foods like lemonade or lemon juice
2. Ginger or ginger ale
3. Hard candy
4. Mommy type stores sell things called Pregnancy Pops for morning sickness.
5. Toast without butter
6. If all else fails, call your doctor and get medicine for it.

Flat ginerale... carbonated drinks making it worse... could be indegestion mixed with nausea causing you to puke like that. Try taking a tums. You can take 3 of the big tums pills a day safely while pregnant, read the label.
My morning sickness lasted until the end of my 4th month and was horrible. It eventually went away though. Best of luck to you.

Green tea or some ginger ( ginger snaps) are good. Also try eating something before you get out of bed. Crackers or something like that.

go to the drug store and get the arm bands that are used to ward off motion sickness. The hit a pressure point on your wrist and it helps. Nothing helped me either. I got sick at least once everyday for week 10 to week 17. (she was my second) Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!
