Nothing wrong with that. I've been wearing thongs since I was 14 and it hasn't changed me as a person and nobody has ever commented it.
People just need to wear whatever they're feeling comfortable in.
Thongs don't always have a sexual connotation.

Thong undies are not good for your "health" down there. As for a thong bikini.. I would never let my daughter wear something like that. And at 16??? No way. But then, I deal with people on a daily basis who prey on girls like that. She may not be old enough to know better, but you are. Do the research and then do what you have to to protect your child.

Nice figure or not, I don't think it's appropriate for a minor to wear a thong swimsuit. She risks attracting the wrong kind of attention from guys who just view her very skimpy attire as an invitation. When she becomes legal and can do what she wants, that's her thing, but I wouldn't let a teenage daughter wear that.

I don't think she should be wearing thongs and g-strings at her age. We as women have all been her age once, and I know if I was wearing either one of them at that age it would only be to show them off to my boyfriend or a male. Why else in the would does she need them then??? She's not a grown woman yet, and she should stay in a child's place until she is. Nice figure or not she doesn't need to be wearing these type of panties. Either way she's going to find a way to wear them even if you tell her to stop or take them away. Girls are very sneaky, and she's at an age where she's definitely trying to do her own thing. Put your foot down either way. She needs to enjoy being young while she can.

I think its okay for her to wear thong underwear, just make sure that they don't show when she bends over. Guys could get the wrong impression. But if she is wearing this as her bathing suit, def not. She is too young to be showing off her body like that.

A thong or g-string bikini is something that NO ONE should be wearing out in public. Whats wrong with normal bikini bottoms? They cover up that stuff but still show A LOT off.
That is pretty degrading.

I'm 16.. I'm a pretty conservative person when it comes to clothing as is.. Thong/G-String UNDERWEAR I think is okay for anyone.. because, well.. Granny Panties and anything that has a full butt to it is just going to ride up your crack anyway, so the thongs and stuff are just there and it's less irritating and saves the embarassment of digging wedgies..
Now thong/G-string Bikini? um.. No. >.> ..
I think the underwear <-- is okay because it's hidden in jeans, but just out in public on a beach is just ugh.. no.
