I will walk in the door and ask "How are things going". I do not really want to know but it usaly distracts her long enough for me to the TV before she remembers all the things she has been saving up all day to tell me.

The first thing I always say to my hubby when he walks through the door is I LOVE YOU and I give him a passionate kiss then treat him to a great dinner! I never let him go a day without hearing how much I love him. We say it all the time.

He works as an EMT so his schedule is usually 24 hour days with a few days off in between. He is home with out 11 month old today - who has been driving him crazy (he's a gem for me ;-).

First thing tonight will be a kisss and an "I'm home." Then I'll walk away quietly because she'll be in bed before I make it home from work.

when my hubby walks in the door, i always give him a few minutes to unwind....supper is ready, and i judge his mood first......then, go over and kiss him and say, "Hi, honey, how was your day?" and take it from there.......if he had a good day......i will have a GOOD NIGHT....!
*wives....worst thing you can do , is just go at him about your day or problems soon as he gets in the door........let him clear his head ..maybe he had a rotten day, looked forward to just coming home to YOU and some peace and quiet......try it.....

I usually tell him to wipe his feet because he forgets and traipse across my nice clean kitchen floor. LOL. Then he comes over and greats our son, daughter, and I in a great big bear hug. Then he asks..."Whats for dinner?"

I usually give him a nice kiss ... smoke a bowl with him ... if we have time get a quicky in before I pick up my daughter from school we do ... and then I tell him how my day went ... !
