Also, I was told that since I have 34 DD breasts im likely to not get hired if the person hiring is a female. WHY IS THAT? I have lots of experience and im very nice.

Well.. the whole breast size thing really isn't an issue. If a woman doesn't hire you because you have large breasts then that is discrimination.

As for your original question - I would recommend canvasing each dealership in your area with your resume. Also - find yourself a staffing agency. They will get your foot in the door as a "temp" and many times the company hires you.

Keep in mind that some companies hire STRICKLY from their Employment Agency.

Also.. if you can't find a position at a car dealership - the agency should find you a job within a week.

Car dealerships typically advertise openings in the newspaper. If you don't see any, then there aren't any. Bear in mind that as a receptionist, you are the first person someone will typically deal with over the phone, so phone manners are very important. Appearance is also very important as well. Make sure that you look professional.

If someone won't hire you because of your breast size, then that is discrimination.....however, you would have a hard time in proving it.

Why just looking at receptionist positions in car dealerships? Receptionist positions are available almost everywhere.

If you go through the websites like Yahoo or your online newspaper through the classifieds, they'll tell you how to apply and when; etc...looks by all means SHOULD NOT have anything to do with whether you can do the job or not. If a person doesn't hire someone for something like that and you find out; that's discrimination. Regardless. Even if you have smaller feet than the person, same thing. However, I wouldn't work for someone like that way. It shows dishonesty, jealousy and possibly a hostile work environment once you do get in the door.

Check your local newspaper - if a car dealership is looking for help, they often advertise it, and will tell you to mail or fax your resume or apply in person.

Depending on where in NY you are - try www.hudsonvalleyhelpwanted.com or even Monster.com or something like that to look at too.

As for the bust size - that doesn't really matter. I'm a real 38DD and I got hired by a straight woman.

Don't listen to the guys...applying in person lets the employer know that you are making an effort to get a job. By applying in person, it puts a name to a face. GOOD LUCK!
