This is my first and I am due Feb. 4th, but I am dialted 2 cm and my cervix is very soft. I don't think the baby has dropped yet, but I'm not sure. How much longer do you think I have?

hard for us to say could be a few days to a few weeks ask your doctor your already in the ealriest stages of labor

I was 2cm for 6 weeks. I know you are anxious. I had my daughter on 2/7/06. She was 2 weeks late, I was going crazy. I had to be induced, but it will happen that is for sure. Take this time to just relax and please enjoy the last few beautiful weeks of pregnancy. Believe me it will be hard to remember what it was like a few months down the road. The end result is the most fabulous thing you will ever experience.

Do you have a crystal ball? I was losing water and didn't know. My body never went into labor by itself. Finally, an ultrasound revealed that there was no water surrounding the baby and I had to go to the hospital immediately for induction. I was almost two weeks past the due date.

well lets see. if today is January 10 and your due Feb 4 id say you have 3 wks 4 days or 25 days however you want to look at it. i was dialated to a 2 for 4 weeks before i had to be induced with my 1st. she was overdue.

Depends. I was 4cm dilated at 36 weeks with my first baby and didn't deliver until three days before my due date. I'm due on Jan 29th with this pregnancy and well, haven't dilated yet and no signs of labor :-( I wish it would happen already lol. good luck

With my first child I was 3 cm dilated and 50 % effaced for 6 weeks!!!!! With number two I was 3cm and completely dilated for 3 weeks before delivery. There is no science to it!!! Just hold on!!!

When I was pg with my daughter, I was dilated 1 cm and 50% effaced for 3 months, plus I went one week overdue!! You never know! All I can help you with is...good luck and don't let them rush the most precious thing you will ever have! :}

I wish I knew . I am 34 weeks pregnant and I think and feel its a matter of time. The only thing I can say is your baby will know when she is ready to come out. Good luck to you and your future child. God speed.

Sorry but you could stay like that for 2 weeks there is no way of knowing. Just try and relax and use this time to rest because afterwards you won't be able to.

I was dialated at 3cm for 3 weeks before I had my daughter and they still had to induce me my doctor was shocked!!
