The dealer has replaced several things and the check engine light continues to come on after it has been reset. I have noticed that it takes forever to fill my gas tank. The gas pump trips constantly. Does this problem seem in line with my issues?

You might have a vent tube problem in the filler neck (rusted or clogged) This will not let vapors escape from the tank while you fill. As for evap and vent solenoid problem, I think the dealer has missed the problem altogether. It sounds like a problem on or near the tank itself.

I would say the best place to get the new hose is at your local honda dealer since they will most likely carry it in stock and you know your getting the right part. I couldn't imagine the part being more than $30 but it depends on how long and big that hose is. If it's not a specific part number you can just go to any local parts store like Napa or Pepboys and they will usually sell you the hose by the foot. Something else i would look at is to make sure the tank itself isn't leaking. Something else I always recomend to my customers is that if you can afford it I would replace all the coolant hoses since if one has just gone bad then the rest probably aren't far behind. This is something I would let a shop deal with because it requieres draining and refilling your coolant. I really hope this helps you, Thanks

Check with your emmissions center. In Washington, if the expenses have gone over a $150 by a certified emissions specialist then you wont have to worry about emission certification and thus just ignore the light.
