Get drunk and go sing karoke with friends...............you'll be surprised how much alcohol can help. Eventually try and record yourself and get friends to help critique and make suggestions. Stage presence is supposed to be the most important thing, not your voice, that's what I've been told.

Have you thought about open mic nights at small clubs/coffee shops? I'm not sure of your age but you should be able to find one local and if you stink then it will only be for a few dozen people at most.
