My car is a CIVIC 95 and speedometer isn't working. The shop says speed sensor is fine, wires fine, should be the gauge cluster and tachometer. Why does that affect my speedometer?

Essentially, this is what you are saying. The voltage in the house is okay, the fuse is okay, the switch is okay, but the bulb doesn't light. What's wrong? Answer, the bulb is burned out.

The speed sensor is fine, the wires are fine, but the speedometer isn't working. What's wrong? It's broken. Replace it or repair it.

spring on the needle in the cluster could of broke. a wire connection on the cluster to the speedo could of broke, a relay, a sensor, a plug could of gone bad on the cluster.

The speedometer is electronic, and the module is tied into the tach and gauges. When one goes bad, the others will also go bad, eventually.
