It will depend on your baby and her tummy also how long she has been on the goodstart, she may have trouble with the switch not only from her tummy but she may not like the way that it tastes compared to what she is used to. if the texture of the formula is very similar than it might not be that big of a problem to switch just watch her for a couple of bottles but if the texture is different like fine powder to a thicker it may not mix or settle in her tummy as well but free formula is worth taking a chance if your willing if she doesnt like it its not your money you would throw out so take a chance or pass it on just think of how she has been with spitting up and bowel movements before trying and monitor after switch if bad then discontinue the new and go back to the old otherwise you should be fine

It depends on the baby actually. My daughter switched fine (we started her on Similac Advance and then WIC changed her too, but we had boxes of the other stuff!) and she was fine. My friend always bought a generic wal mart brand after WIC would run out every month too and he was always fine. BUT my sister's daughter had to stay on ONE formula. She had to have a doctor's order for WIC to give her that one. She tried the normal stuff, but she threw it up. It wasn't a soy formula she needed either, just one brand only.

You can if you want to but its not recommened to do it cuz it would upset baby's tummy. i would say use the formula you get from WIC until you run out and in an emergency situation than use the enfamil as a back up.

I switched all the time. I found out pretty much all formula is made at 3 or 4 factories and is shipped out to different companies for labeling.
It does depend on your kid - if he/she vomits a lot or has had trouble digesting formula, I'd be careful with it.

Alot of people say you can't but it won't do the child any harm. The same happened with me and now that I am not on wic, I changed my babies formula with the sales. I do however always get the same ( DHA and ARA) types. It won't hurt the baby, like I said my baby was on two different formulas and breastmilk the first four months of life and she is still alive!

Talk to your baby's doctor but it is not a good idea to switch formula frequently it can cause stomach problems which can lead to other illnesses.

You can but i think they will get constipated from the switch. I wouldn't switch all the time if your baby has acid reflux or any othe rproblems.

You could switch, just make sure you do it slowly, and make the transition between formula's easy on her tummy.
