Is is true that child molesters get the worst treatment from other inmates in prison when they get there?

I always heard that molesters were considered the bottom of the food chain even as far as other inmates in prison-is this true?

According to the justice files, most inmates consider them to have committed an inexcusable crime and thus think of them as free game for whoever wants to attack them. Many inmates also consider rapists to be in this category. This is because most of the inmates in any given prison are in there for crimes like robbery and assualt which can potential be justified as the product of circumstances rather than an urge or desire, and these inmates consider themselves to be above the level of someone like a pedophile.

Most pedophiles that are sent to prision are put in PC, which is protective custody. There is a section of the prision reserved for certain people that are at risk when put into the general prision population. On some occasions when pedohiles are grouped with the other inmates and it is known the person is incarcerated for a crime against a child, the pedophile is usually beaten and sodomized.

I have friend that worked in a prison and my brother and dad are both deputys' and they say that's how it works. The Gay males will rape them and the other will just beat the day lights out of them. There has been some men die in prison who had done that to kids b/c of the other inmates. And some guards just allow this to go on b/c of what they are in there for.

Well, common sense would tell you yes. When you get to prison you have to carry around your paperwork of what you're rap is or else the other prisoners will question you. Many prisoners have kids, and if they see that someone is a convicted child molestor, well, they are likely to see them as what these people are, which is the scum of the earth. Granted, anyone who goes to federal prison has evidently done something wrong, but there is nothing worse than a crime towards a child.

It can be true. Alot of prison inmates have children and there is a code of ethics even among criminals and usually that code of ethics is that children are off limits. So when someone comes in for sexually assaulting a child, they are usually in for a world of hurt.

My father was in prison before i was born, and i had heard him saying that this was true. They get beat and raped in prison.
