A half hour video can be hundreds of MB depending on your compression method. Uploading a large file of that type would be best done with an FTP program.

It depends on the type of video file you are talking about. A DIVX AVI movie that is about 1 1/2 hours long or so is about 700-800MB...so just slice that into thirds and your half hour movie should be around 250MB or so (if you are using a DIVX AVI file).

It varies by video format. However, a two-hour movie, in native format, takes about 8Gb. One CD can hold 700+ Megabytes, or about 3/4 of a Gb. Divide by four.

A standard single sided DVD holds 4.7 Gigabytes and will record a 2 hour movie in mpeg2 format. Therefore; a half hour of video, should require 1.175 Gigabytes of disk space (4.7/4).

It depends on the image quality of the file. But perhaps around 90Mb, based on 3mb per minute.
