Do you like the Monarchy? Because i'm totaly for it, i want to know that there is anyone else out there who is, because a lot of my friends are against it which i don't understand!

im all for it - monarchy is so cool and the british are lucky to have besides theres a few differnences when people say monarchy - for instance it england the queen is just a figure head and before the russian revolution the czar nicholos the II had full control - so there are differences - personally im for all of them as long as there is no law against religion

I'm a Monarchist. Totally for it. Anwar Sadat (of Egypt) once said that in the Future there will only be 5 Kings, four in the deck of cards and the King of England. I agree.
The reason is simple. What an institution. Yes, its outdated, but what a tourist attraction! Look at the money, fun and entertainment it brings in. Not to mention a fun way at looking at history.
Prince William will be the FIRST King (when on the throne) to be descended from King Charles I in hundreds of years (even though it will be through an illigetimate daughter) through his mother, Princess Diana.

I am American, and I think the monarchy is awesome. The British should be proud of their heritage, tradition, pomp and circumstance. The history of the monarchy is fascinating reading .

Monarchies are outdated. And if you are referring to the British monarchy they are totally pointless, they are just a ceremonial figurehead, they have no real power over the day to day running of the country.

All of us here in Canada love our Queen dearly. She's a class act all the way. Her visits here are always mobbed with people just hoping to get a glimpse of her. She represents tradition. loyalty, and leadership. God Save The Queen!

I like it. It's a bit of old world glamour. Tell your friends there are so called "democracies" in this world that are worst than worst monarcy which ever existed!!!!!
