this is a very complex long lasting question that has been going around for some time now. the answer to your question is it really depends on the size of your tounge. i will certainly tell you the average number of licks for the average age group-
1-5 about 222 licks
6-8 about 198
8-10 about 170
at this point your tougue starts to mature
11-15 about 154
15-21 around 141
22-29 around 132
30 and up around 125

I don't lick em cause when a guy does that it looks really gay. I just keep it in my mouth until it disolves. That usually takes about 15 min.
