Would you wear swet pinafores like those at http://dressmaker.com/shop/catalog/index.php?cPath=22&osCsid=fb685d1afa8364be7204abaab6977ad7

I'm asking this cause some ladies told me those kind of pinafores are coming back. I even know a woman who makes her girls, 13 and 11, wear them at home. The girls don't like, but it's their mom law.
I also know of a mother who made her 12 or 13 year-old boy wear one as a punishment for bad behavior (which I dodnt approve of).

The plain ones look ok. I don't fancy the strawberry motif much. Also, I would prefer they were a little longer, the skirt seems a bit short. Overall though, for a hostess apron, I think they would be quiet satisfactory, although if a bit pricey.

Where are they coming back? At the Little House On The Prairie? Or maybe they are big with that Arkansas Duggar family with 16 kids?
Or the Utah polygamists?
Certainly not here in California.
They are hideous!
However, the purpose of these was to protect clothing when warm water for washing was not readily available and people only had two changes of clothing.
I think they are a relic and only people with a skewed perception of reality would wear them or make their kids wear them for any other reason than a school play or a costume.

Hmmm, not sure about those flouncy ones, but I love the simple black or grey pinafores that are in at the moment. Women can wear them with a simple white long sleeved or short sleeved shirt underneath and its a very fashionable look for work...

maybe if I was a french maid or something. My husband might like that if that's all I had on!
But just to wear? No way...and what underneath?? A dress up to your neck and down to your ankles? No thanks...it's too hot in Texas for that and we like our jeans too much.
Hmmmm wonder what a pinafore with jeans would look like

I like them alot, I think they are very nice. And well, thats totally not my style, but I would consider wearing it because its just so pretty. There are million variations I could think of to go with that. Its great.

Only for halloween, or if I joined one of those weird religious sects where you have to dress modestly (unlikely, in my case).
