Color is the way the United States spells it.
Colour is the way Canada AND the United Kingdom spells it.
Most people forget that Canada spells colour that way too.

The "u" versioon of the word is the common spelling in Britain, Canada and other English speadking countries. Here in the US of A we leave the "u" out.

they spell it COLOUR in Canada or the UK and we spell it COLOR here in the states. otherwise no difference.
