It means he is not over her. He is probably still in shock about the divorce. I left my ex-husband after 4 years of him cheating, being verbally abusive, and very disrespectful to me. He started the bad behavior back in 1999, which continued on and off until 2003 when I left him. Our divorce was final in 2004. I then fell in love and married someone else because the 1st marriage was over long before I filed for divorce. He still talks about me, tells lies, and cries to family, friends, his girlfriend, and anyone who will listen to him. I don't care, I have moved on, just as he had told me to do. As for your boyfriend, you may need to leave him alone if he continues to talk about his ex-wife. That is disrespectful to you. He is not ready to move on. Best of luck to you.

It doesn't necessarily mean he loves her. He might resent her and hate everything about her. I talk about my ex-wife a lot. She's left me about 50K worth of reasons to talk about her. She hasn't seen or talked my son in over a year and a half. I never talk about her to him, but my current wife and I don't hesistate to rip her.

Sometimes someone screws the world over so bad that you have a hard time overcoming it. I'm reminded of it every time I pay the bills.

Just be patient with the guy. Thankfully my angel of a wife was/is patient with me. She's my best friend in the world. I would gladly get divorced a million times over and go through it all again just to meet her.

Most people like this have anger issues that they cannot control. He simply hates her and wants the world to know through him lashing out. I had a co-worker that constantly mentioned his ex and he basically wanted her dead. She was awarded HIS home that he bought while she stayed at home eating bon bons, she threatens him with more child support every year and she pays her new boyfriend's car with the child support money he sents. This woman manipulated him and his only defense was to talk about it.

It either means he still has feelings for her, and did not want to get a divorce. Or he is venting and getting it out of his system. After you leave or divorce someone, you tend to talk about them, whether good or bad. It's normal. Unless he is talking about her way tooo much and is obsessive about it. Good luck! :)

Depends on what context he is talking about her in. Either way, there is still strong emotions there, good or bad.

It means he still feels a connection and is not fully over her. Yet he will give you various excuses as to why they still talk.

He is either still in love with her, or he is still harboring feelings for her and they could be anything from hate, anger, love, lust --just about anything---either way he doesn't have her out of his system yet!

He still has feelings for her. Do you talk about any of your exs? If, no, why not? Probably because you have moved on right? He has not.

He's not over her, and he's still working things out in his mind. Avoid this one!

He still attracted to her/still has feelings for her. You don't talk about people who don't mean anything to you.
