My new fish has just pooed and it is a cream almost white sort of poo. All the other fish i have had have been a dark colour brown like. Is there a reason why it is a whitey colour? is he ill?

It should be dark brown. When it is whitish, it usually means the fish is sick. He's new to your tank and probably stressed from the move, so just keep feeding him a quality food, keep the water adequately warm and clean, and he should be fine and pooping properly soon :)
If there are any air bubbles in the poop, it could indicate constipation. Fish should be not feed for three days and then feed nothing but peas for three days.
If it very long and thin or mottled, he may have an internal bacterial infection. It should cure itself, but if it does not, feed anitibotic foods.

I assume they are the same type of fish? How long have you had them? They might be just getting rid of the last of their pet store meals and haven't produced any of the food you've been giving them! Otherwise do they look healthy compared to the other fish that came before them?

Its probably just from a different type of food, my goldfish eat a different kind of food than my angel fish and they all poo different colors.

Prob. had some really good tacos last night.
Don't worry he brought with him whatever he last ate as well as his own collection of intestinal bugs, and such. After a week or so he will be just like the others...
