As a German, what do you think of Americans?

I'm trying to figure out some sterotypes that exist between the cultures...

Thanks

I am an american and I have a funny story,

For the record, I harbor ill feelings.

My Grandma faught in WW@ teaching the navy boys to shoot at planes. She has ALWAYS been a very tolerant and fair woman. But after the war it has been really hard for her to be hospitibal to German's, and Japanese were even worse. I don't hold this against her, because of the WAR.

But My Grandpa is second generation american, and BOTH his parents were born and raised in Germany.

And my Grandma and Grandpa are STILL married.

I always thought that was cute and funny, but I don't harbor any sterio types or ill feelings, but I wouyd like to know what they think of us,

I'm an american & don't think anything of germans good or bad. I'd really like to go there one day, though as I've taken 8 years of Duetch.
