I would have to say both and neither depending on your definition of elitism. Conservatives like to think they are not elitists but they tend to have the most money and live an elitist lifestyle.

Both, except often the conservatives actually work to make their money, whereas liberals just inherit it from past generations who were hard workers (and a lot more conservative).
