I don't think so. There are different variation's of live like, taped before a live studio audience, etc... When you think about all shows are taped live.

They are not supposed to.
Usually someone in Master control is taping the show without the graphic that says live.

if they do show it the usually put underneath that the show is previously recorded.

Only in re-runs, but they used to have to say the show was pre-recorded. I don't know now.

Sure it can.

Most of the time "Live" means it was recorded live and in front of an audience.

i know you are thinking "Oh well everyone is alive" but it actually means without multiple takes and editing.
