Indeed. Sound is created by vibrations in the air. There is no air in space beyond the atmosphere. No air to vibrate means no vibrations. no vibrations means no sound.

Yes, of course. Screaming is an air vibration, just as any sound. This is the way that ears receive it in timpani, the brain processes and understand it. First of all, you cannot make any noise in space, because you do not have air to create a vibration. Also, if you are inside an area with air (you can scream) but if until the receiver there is a space without air, there is no way to transmit that vibration outside through no air space to be heard by someone else.

No, this is quite false. Consider two situations here:
1) You are in space in a spacesuit and you scream. There is at least one person who will hear you... YOU.
2) You are in space and, unfortunately for you, you forgot to put your spacesuit on. Uh oh, you're going to die BUT you still have some air in your lungs, so scream. The air will pass through your voice box, which will vibrate. Those vibrations can pass through your skin, muscle, bone, skull, brain etc and you will hear the sound as it vibrates the sensory cillia cells in your ears. So, again, you would hear yourself screaming.

if you were in a space suit and you had the radio on... Yes they would here you scream.
But if you did not have a suit on no one would hear you scream because sound can't travel in vacuum.
Unless you had just been blown out an airlock, then there is a small chance that if someone had been blown out with you and you were still both surrounded by the air that had been blown out the airlock with you. Then you might hear each other scream, before you asphyxiated and your eyes froze.

unless you are using a radio of course, space is a vacuum. You go into space, with nothing around you, and try to scream, and you will decompress. No one will hear anything, because there is nothing to conduct the sound.

Its quite true buddy. Sound usually travel by vibrating the air molecules, since in space(vacuum) their is no air you can scream as loud as you want no own will save your ***.

There is no sound in space so yes it's true. It's a vacuum you see. When u hear an explosion in space on a film it's quite unrealistic, they just do it for effect.

Sound creates a pressure wave, but when there is no atmosphere to transfer the sound waves, there will be no sound. So since space is a vacuume the noise created by an object in
space would not reach our ears, even if we were up there.
For a sound you need a sorce, a transmitter or something for sound to travel through and a receiver - our ears..
Sound waves are physical waves, not to be confused with electronic raido - Electromagnetic waves - light, x-rays, gamma rays, and so on. Sound waves, no.

Sound waves are composed of materials vibrating, be it solids liquids or gases. However in deep space (far away from the atmosphere) there is simply nothing. Therefore if you scream, nothing would vibrate.

not if you are just randomly floating in space - there are no particles. sounds travells to your ear by bouncing off particles, causing it to vibrate and your eardrum translates the vibrations into a noise. There are no particles in space so there are none to bounce off. Anyway - there isn't any oxygen so you couldn't breath in to scream!
