There's a family in my city who lives in a shed behind the woman's mother's house. There is a husband, wife and 3 children. The woman's mother will not let them live in her huge house with her. The man has injured his back severely and is unable to work and so the oldest child and wife work.
If I had that money I would find them a decent place to live and furnish it with the things they needed and have their utilities turned on and help them pay those utilities until the husband got better.
That's what I'd do with the money.

I would invest most of it; go to school for massage therapy (and not work while I'm doing it so I can be more involved with my daughter and her schooling); let her design her own room, getting whatever furniture she wants (like a bunk bed unit which I can't afford right now cause it costs at least $1000); buy my parents whatever they want, including buying out their current mortgage, selling the house, and getting them what they really want no matter what it is; buying myself a car. They have been helping me financially all my life, and I so badly want to pay them back. There's probably more, but I can't think of it right now.
What about you?

I would start a non-profit organization to help inner-city children learn music. I would have teachers and musical instruments that would be available at very inexpensive cost.
I believe that music can transform the world and I want to share that vision with people that can't afford musical instruments and lessons.

start a business to create more cash flow. After taxes, you would only clear 70 grand, and that would only last a year with a family of 6.
It would be a business that helps people help other people, and everyone could get rich.
