Do you get decent health coverage where you are? In Saskatchewan, Canada we get free health coverage. Where are you from and what is your coverage????

Here in the states, you pretty much have to take whatever your job is willing to pay for. My wife has better health insurance than I do because she's a teacher and they have unions!

we have excellent health coverage through my husbands job ..so the health coverage is free in canada,i work as a nurse in ny near the border and i can not tell you the number of people who come across the river to the hospitals here for care because even though the coverage is free certain things require waiting periods to get done or are not considered emergency procedures...people coming here with chest pains to have angio grams done because the wait for cardiac bypass surgery could be awhile.......i personally call needing a pace maker a life threatening condition but have taaken care of many people from canada who were told it could be up to a year wait....orthopedic surgeries are also low on the totem pole..so yeah the coverage might be free but if you are in need of something the wait could kill you

I have a group health plan from my employer here in Florida and it's great. The voverage in the US is not as good as the coverage in Canada, but the service is 100x's better.

California, US its bad over here, seems like i will be making a trip to canada sooner than i thought and may be stay there

You are so lucky! I'm in Southern California and we use Kaiser Permenente.
