Why do my attach get downloaded to temp files?

When I try to open attach sent they download to temp files-Help!!!

Whenever you receive an attachment via e-mail, it automatically is stored in your temporary Internet files. To open you merely right click and click on either Explore from here, or Open. To delete the file, you can do the same thing from the temporary file folder. Hope this helps.

i guess it is the folder it is et up to download to just hit save as Instead of Save then select the folder you want to save it in to
