Almost any knee high creek or river bed where there's gravel or sand. Just don't pan if there are no tresspassing signs or dangerous water conditions. Just bring your own pan, which can be purchase for under $5. I hope you're not going to do it for a living. If you want a commerical outfit, there are many near Suttler's Mill and Nevada City, CA.

relies upon on what you pick to do or what you may do. there is snowboarding contained in the east, beaching contained in the west, trekking contained in the proper, citifiying around the Bay section, and being rural contained in the north. you'll locate many helpful places in that portion of the country.

You bet...You can pan for gold at Shasta Caverns...The tour of the caverns is fun, too! I highly recommend it!
