I grew up with these two comedy series. I love them both, though I am undecided as to which is best. Which do you think is better?

Unfair question if I ever read one, no self respecting person should be asked to pick one from the other as a favourite, but guess if I was in a very tight corner, and no other way out of situation then it would be Trotters.

For sheer devil may care comedy it has to be Only Fools And Horses. One foot in the grave is also brilliant, but Del Boy, Trigger & Doive(RODNEY) just shade it for me, as there is a part of all the characters lurking inside all of us.

Personally I think Fawlty Towers is better than both.
The writing in One Foot in the Grave is excellent but the characters in Only Fools and Horses make it the better show.

It has to be only fools.One foot was good,so was porridge and,open all hours .There has been some brilliant comedy series,but only fools comes out on top every time.
