Does anybody now how to make woad (blue paint) used by the celtic tribes

It's from a plant - Isatis tinctoria. The leaves are rotted then used to dye fabric or the extract is mixed with animal fat and rubbed onto the skin.

Woad is not a paint it is a powder to dye cloth with a dark true blue colour. It is a tincture from dried vegetal. You can also obtain a beautiful blue by slicing red cabbage, squeeze a fresh lemon on it then put it in cold water about 5 minutes, then drain but keep the water which is then of that beautiful blue colour. Smile.

You don't have to make it, get it at Home Depot. Same as all the Druids of today get it.
