How do you feel when you read someones question and a lot of the replies say something like........?

I think it's wrong to answer a question like that. It also shows one's ignorance. Unless they're kidding with the answer which I doubt. I would be really offended if someone said that to me. If you needed advice from a professional, that would be one's decision.

In many people's minds, if they can somehow denigrate another person in any manner, they become superior to that person.

They don't realize that perceived superiority over others is a weakness, not a strength.

This type of activity is prevalent in a forum such as this because we can remain anonymous and therefore not be directly accountable for our actions.

Before I answer any question, I always think to myself, "Would I want my daughter to see my response?'

This usually entices me to provide a sensible answer that I think might help an individual.

I must admit that I sometimes fall into the mental trap of responding to a question that is submitted only to provoke an emotional reply.

We all probably need to work daily to not respond in kind to obnoxious behavior.

I feel sad and upset that there are so many ignorant people here on yahoo questions. I think most people ask questions hoping for answers from people that had similar experiences or have an actual knowledge about the issue.
Althought I see sometimes really stupid questions, but I would not answer them with rudness.

No one should be called an "idiot" here for ANY reason, but medical questions SHOULD only be asked of medical professionals and not of us amateurs who could quite possibly --- and frequently so --- give some very wrong and even extremely DANGEROUS advice!

It really annoys me. It wastes time and detracts from answers given by those who truly want to help.
