I'd rather teach a person to fish than give him fish.
1 deg C ~ 1.8 deg F.
We find this from 100 deg C (boiling) ~ 212 deg F) and 0 deg C ~ 32 deg F. Thus, 100 deg C = 180 deg F; so that 180 deg F/100 deg C = 1.8 deg F/1.0 deg C.
So, given this information, what is 200 deg F in Centrigrade? First, 200 deg F is 200 - 32 = 168 deg F above freezing, which, for Centigrade is at zero degrees. So, starting at 0 deg C we need to add 168 deg F which, as we found earlier, is 168 deg F/(1.8 deg F/1.0 deg C) ~ 93.3 deg C.
So, there you are...no formulas to memorize. Just remember the freezing and boling points in both C and F, and you can work out the answers.
