Out of your choices, I'd say the Dodge, because there is plenty available aftermarket for upgrades, as in lift, winch bumpers, etc. Ridgeline is out of the question, and so is the Escalade, unless there is a lift kit available, and you want to remove those fancy lighted running boards that would otherwise snap off at the slightest touch. Unless you REALLY want a pick-up, I'd take a hard look at the Mitsubishi Montero (love mine), the Toyota Landcruiser, and of course any Jeep Wranglers.

a truck for offroading? do not buy new as this will void your warranty if anything breaks and they can tell it was abused. my sujestion is to buy a older 70s model ford or chevy shortbed pickup and spend 2,000 lifting it and putting suspension mods and tires on it then if ya wreck it, you still have your daily driver to bring it home. i used to build mud trucks when i was younger and nothing today even compares to what i could get out of a stock chevy or ford. use the short wheelbase truck because when ya roll over a hill there is less of a chance of bottoming out from the longer wheelbase. picture a hill then picture a long truck going over it versus a short wheelbase truck, and you will see what i mean
