if you are looking to make a new one or series, then go back to the classics like lassie and the lone ranger, its a basic simple formula that everyone copies, cant be dupilcated, simple , but dumb lines and dialogue almost no music except from the classic orchestrals, no high tech stunts, bleeding hearts in the romantic stuff, work your sponsors into the back ground so as not to be obvious, such as a long winded conversation in front of a COKE sign, no profanities, keep the comedy to a dull roar, fresh cast, ones who dont yet have high priced union followers.
