Im just curious to see if anyone can figure out why I had this dream.

There was three of us in a warehouse building walking along a catwalk real high up, all of a sudden both sides of the railing gave out and the steel floor began to drop, I grabbed onto a pillar that happend to be close by, but had one person hold on to me, and the other person hold onto the person holding onto me. At this point Im holding on to dear life with 2 people dangling from me. All I know is that I would not let go of the pillar, and kept screaming for help and no one heard us. I still wouldn't let go no matter how much the weight was pulling me. Finally someone saw us and called the Fire Department. The fireman grabbed one of us at a time. Then there was a news team outside recording us walking down a ladder.

Can anyone tell me if this dream had any meaning. It felt so real when I was holding on to dear life! Im open to any ideas, thanks!

being at the top with others holding on...maybe you are feeling overwhelmed with responsibility...whether it is work(others being coworkers) or home (others being your family, friends, etc.) you feel like you are the one holding it all together, for whatever reason. Maybe you need to take a moment to reflect on the relationships/situation to see if its where you need to be right now and how you can help yourself to feel more in control of it. just an idea..hope it helps.

There are alot of dream interpretation websites available.

By your dream description, it sounds like you subconsciously feel that you are at the end of your rope.

You are stressed and have a low sense of security.

There may be a situation going on in your life where you feel you may have no control over and thus constitutes you hanging on for dear life.

Falling in your dreams is usually about feeling like you are loosing or have lost control over some aspect in your life. Maybe the others holding on to you is because you are feeling like you are taking on too much of burden somewhere and it is weighing you down.
Good luck.

It sounds like you feel that you are responsible for other people( the people holding on to you), and that you feel like your world is falling down around you. but you are trying to hold on to the past, these people that are clinging to you are remenants of the responsibilities that you have and are afraid to severe these ties to the past. You need to look at the changes that are occuring in your life. You are looking for someone to rescue you ( the fire department), and you have a need to be validated for your struggles( the news team).

just a stab in the dark...

maybe it's about your friendships... when the bottom falls out, you'll be the strength to hold it all together until whatever the issue is has been resolved.

I have read some dream books and from patterns in them your dream may mean that you are fighting to gain control of something or that you are loosing control of something.

dreams dont usually have a specific meaning. they are usually a mesh of thoughts running through you head before you sleep and the events of you day mixed with some imagination. when you sleep, its your brains chance to 'sort out' what happened during the day
