I bought a really nice shirt, it looks and feels like satin (but thicker) and has a leather belt going around the waist. Does this sound office appropriate, if I wore it with a black pencil skirt? I don't think it looks like going out clothes, I bought it for work but for some reason now I'm not sure, as it does look satiny....

I'd say it's absolutley fine. It sounds like something I would wear. It's nice to dress up a little bit for work, makes u feel good and with a pencil skirt it will look great!

It sounds like a really cute outfit but it just might turn heads. If you are having doubts then wear a jacket over it, then if you feel comfortable enough at work you can take your jacket off. If it is lowcut at all then I would say a definite no. but as long as it is modest looking then go for it and have fun looking good.

Hi it sounds ok to me, it could be just because your not use to wearing it you may think that it looks over the top but im sure it will look fine. Its sounds lovely. Wear it im sure if someone says something then you will now if its inappropriate to wear for work, but if you get good comments then keep wearing it.

its sounds good to me!!! when you picked the shirt you had work in mind for wearing it so go for it. you should stick with your 1st instinct as it can be the right choice but i you have big douts about it ask a mate before you wear it to work or just be different make yourself stand out!!! hope this helps???

I once wore a suit at wirk, there's nothing wrong with wearing sometign smart around the office, wear it with pride!

Many women human beings are starting up to placed on ties now. that's a "crime" hostile to fashion if her tie did not tournament her outfit... i might want to point wearing a vivid tie to spruce up an outfit. So, briefly, it isn't a "fashion crime" if she wears it with the perfect colors and clothing.

yeah it sounds absolutely fine, but i dnt know wther u needed me 2 say that seeing as every1 else has!!! if u do have doubts, then just wear it once and see how evry1 reacts, but am sure its fine.....by the way u described it, it sounds quite nice!!!!!!!!!!
