Yes, do it now, when she will only cry for a little bit. Once she gets older, it will be harder. My niece had hers done when she was a month old.

The pain part is not true, she feels pain as much now as she will later. I used to pierce ears. The only difference is a baby will cry, but can be consoled. A 5 year old will most likely not cry. The older they get the faster they get over the pain. If you get her ears pierced have both done at the same time, request the manager (she will have a lot more experiance). Also, do it while she's sleeping, that way strangers in her face wont freak her out. Lastly, make sure the dots they put on her ears are even. You don't want to put her through it again.
As an ear piercer I know there is a risk of an allergic reaction, but because of her age you have to use the better studs. They are more expensive, but they are hypo-allergenic. You also need to clean them twice a day for about 6 weeks until they heal and so they don't get infected. If they get infected take them out.

well it by you, you mean take her somewhere to get it done then you should know the pros and cons before you decide
pros
she wont have to go through any pain or anxiety when she gets older
they are adorable on little kids
cons
earlobs are one of the parts of your body that never stop growing if you pierce them now they may be closer to the bottom of the ear when she gets older
she will never have to experience the no pain no gain consept, I think when I got my ears pierced in the 6th gread it was a great experience that makes me stronger, and I'm glad that I can remember it now at 16

i'd wait, not only do i think that earings look peculiar on babies, but she could have an allergic reaction to earings (like myself), and it would be unfair to make a three month old go through the pain of having pus squeezed out of her ear lobe for something that she might not want when she grows up. At least wait until she expresses interest in having earings.

If you had asked me 9 months ago what I thought I would have said no way......but when my daughter turned 6 months old, my wife went and had hers done and surprised me, I was a little upset at first but the realized they looked good on her. My wife said she didn't even cry and to us they seemed to never bother her, so hurt a little now or hurt more later, I take the little now.

It may have hurt a little when I got my ears pierced, but I am glad that my mom made me wait until I was old enough to appreciate them. She gave me a set age when I could get them pierced and it gave me something to look forward to. So my advice is to wait and let her get them when she wants them. They may look really cute now but don't you want to wait for the day when you can take her to get them done and see the look on her face when she is finally able to get them pierced?

noooo wait till she grows little older ...
it doesnt hurt that much. It is better to get it done later than a poor 3 month old baby.
