There is no such "real" virus that you are seeing. It is a scam to attempt to get you to purchase a rogue malware removal product. The popup about "NetWorm-Virus@fp", is always false, phony and fradulant. The actual trojan that has caused your problem is no doubt one of the hundreds (now in the thousands)of varients of what is commonly called "Zlob".

But your computer is indeed infected. This infection is called Smitfraud and it will give you phony scam virus warnings( and often redirect you to a site selling a bogus anti virus product), trying to sell you junk such as Pest Trap, Virus Burst, Spyware Quake and other non working anti virus apps.

Information and procedures for removal of Smitfraud are here:

Norton stinks. Get Avast Antivirus.

Download a free anti-virus product like AVG free. Virus programmers focus on hiding from the larger anti-virus apps like Norton and McAfee. Run a scan with one of the free utilities, and more than likely it will find and remove it. Try these:

Good luck!

NetWorm-i.Virus@fp is more than a nuisance popup, it is actually an indication of a trojan infection, Zlob Trojan to be precise. Other fake messages by Zlob are:

Critical System Error
System Performance monitor warning
Security Alert: NetWorm-i.Virus@fp
W32.Myzor.FK@yf

Download SpyNoMore from the link below to remove Zlob trojan and the fake messages will cease.

Some viruses do a really good job of hiding from virus scanners when active on your computer. Good luck.
